We are asking all churches of all faiths in the city of New Orleans to join us in unity by tolling the bells of your religious bldg for the first Black Civil War Hero, Captain André Cailloux at 7pm. This act of solidarity during the divisive time we are currently living in would open hearts and go along way to sustaining New Orleans culture of togetherness.
There will be a link HERE in the coming weeks to sign up to be a volunteer or a re-enactor during the official, American Civil War Reenactment of André Cailloux's Historic Funeral Procession. In the meantime, you can sign up, in person, at the candlelight vigil.
